You can download the installation file from a variety of sources.  The file was 19mb which was relatively a lot larger than other sites, installing the file was clean and tidy.  Just follow the prompts and your done.

Before you start playing you will need a validation code from your email.  Be sure yo check your junk email if you cant find the validation code.  The game does not require you to enter a credit card number to start playing.

You are given a choice of a few avatars to chose from to personalise your experience.  The first time you start playing you get to chose how you want to view the table.  I prefer the birds eye view.  I found the graphics rather comical and rather a let down considering that the installation file download was so much larger than other sites.

The game play is very intuitive, you can be a pro in 10 minutes.  There are not many options to customize your game.  One option I did like was the auto centre feature, where you can always place yourself in the same centre seat so you never be confused when it’s your time to bet (that’s if your one to table hop).  There’s also an easy way to see the last hand delt so you can fully absorb what the other player’s techniques are.  I did find that there were less pop up adds in general compared to other software.  Besides this, there’s not much more that makes the Full Tilt poker software different from the rest.
